Veteran wide receiver Brandon LaFell signed with Oakland Raiders on Monday (3), as the team announced.
The California franchise dismissed wide receiver Johnny Holton in a corresponding decision.
Last Saturday, the Raiders dismissed wide receiver Martavis Bryant after giving up a third-round draft replacement in the 2018 Pittsburgh Steelers draft to bring the wideout.
General manager Reggie McKenzie said the team cut Bryant because he lost “a lot of training time with minor injuries.” Bryant, however, is also expected to take a suspension for violating the National Football League banned substance policy.
The Cincinnati Bengals dismissed LaFell in August and he was entering the final year of a three-year contract he signed in 2015.
He was drafted in the third round of the 2010 draft by the Carolina Panthers with the 78th overall choice and spent the first four seasons there before defending the New England Patriots for two seasons. Watch Oakland Raiders live stream free NFL direct HD TV coverage game in here.
