Defensive end Khalil Mack and defensive tackle Aaron Donald have set new contract standards for defenders with their gigantic deals sealed with Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams respectively.
And now it’s another one of the other defenders want to bill.
Outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney would love to fill his pockets with a hefty renovation with the Houston Texans.
“I went out with them. Of course, I want to be up there beside them, “Clowney said, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Clowney was selected with the first overall pick of the 2014 draft by the Texans, with Mack being selected the same year by the Oakland Raiders with the fifth overall pick and Donald being selected by the Rams with the 13th overall pick. Watch NFL live stream free match from here.
Mack signed a six-year deal worth $ 141 million with the Bears after being acquired by the team in exchange with the Raiders while Donald signed a six-year, $ 135 million contract with the Rams.

However, Clowney’s productivity is a far cry from the two top NFL champions.
Combined, Mack and Donald totaled 79.5 sacks and were selected six times for the first All-Pro team (three each), seven times for the Pro Bowl and each of them has already won the NFL Defender of the Year award.
Clowney has 20 sacks and his appearances in the Pro Bowl.
The Texans linebacker has suffered injuries in the opening straight of his NFL career and last year was the first time he has played in all 16 Texas franchise games.
Now healthy, Clowney wants to show he can get to the next level and he ensures he is not jealous of seeing Mack and Donald getting historic contracts.
“Right time, it’s all about timing in this league. Injuries happen. You get paid at any given time. You get free in the market at the right time. They boycotted. They got what they deserved. I think these guys deserve these contracts, “Jadeveon Clowney finished.
